JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. We recently opened our second venue Seasons, which will concentrate on seasonally changing menus, and fresh ingredients. We have successfully run Number 5 kitchen and bar for over 11 years and enjoy creating an amazing day and evening venue for customers to enjoy our creations.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food preparation, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to excellence in food production. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality freshly prepared seasonal changing dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the culinary field.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead kitchen staff effectively.
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management to develop seasonal menus and special offerings.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Train new kitchen staff on culinary techniques and safety practices.
  • Assist in maintaining high standards of presentation for all dishes served.
