Job Introduction
As a Chef Team Leader at Sodexo in HM Navel Base, Portsmouth, your culinary expertise and organizational excellence will lead an entire food and beverage production. You’ll be providing this service for our armed forces personnel, improving their quality of life every day!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Lead the kitchen in the absence of your senior colleagues & provide support for the production team
• Direct the preparation/duties to the commis chefs, chef de parties and other kitchen staff.
• Assisting/sharing in ordering, prep, stock control, to running service & clean down.
• Ensuring strict adherence to all EHO guidelines and systems
• improvisation and maximise the use of existing stocks where necessary.
• Working with the FOH team to drive the service excellence
• Work on the range with the kitchen team to train, guide & develop
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations
• Prepare, produce and present food to the highest standard
