Description

The Sleepy Lagoon Hotel located in Tin Can Bay is seeking for a motivated, qualified Chef.
Responsibilities
· Responsible in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food items within the kitchen
· Responsible for the overall cleanliness and presentation of the kitchen
· Responsible in the requisition, storage, control and ordering of stock
· Care and maintenance of equipment
· Menu planning and pricing
· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety practices
· Responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen
· Practising proper workplace health and safety procedures
· Other incidental and peripheral duties as requested by the Employer
· Responsible for cost control and expenditure in the kitchen area within set budget guidelines
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef
· Relevant trade qualifications in culinary/cookery
· Excellent cookery skills & a passion to excel in this industry
Salary package - $70000.00 - $75000.00 plus superannuation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
