JOB SUMMARY

Maya Norte is a small, busy, family run restaurant that focuses on tapas and small plates. It is known for its bold flavours inspired by the owners/Chef’s time living abroad.
We are seeking experienced and passionate kitchen staff to join our kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations. This position requires a passion for food, creativity, and the ability to maintain high standards of food preparation and safety. In this position, you will assist in managing kitchen staff, ensuring quality meal preparation, and upholding food safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

    Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
