We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and restaurant operations, with a flair for creating exceptional dishes. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals that delight our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level 3 Food Hygiene
  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
  • Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create innovative dishes that meet customer expectations.
  • Experience in team management, with strong leadership qualities to motivate and inspire kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality food experiences.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business.
  • First aid training would be ideal
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £13.50-£13.90 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
  • Assist in the planning of special events and catering services as required.
  • Ensure the kitchen is organised, clean, and well-maintained at all times.
  • You will be the sole Chef 2-3 days per week so you need to run and maintain the kitchen as though you are the owner.
