Squires Loft Diamond Creek is currently seeking a qualified Cook for a full-time position, with the potential for a long-term permanent opportunity.
Salary: $76,550 + Superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week
Mode: Full-time
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Cook in a similar fast-paced environment.
· Certificate III, IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality or equivalent qualification.

The capacity to consistently prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals, and specialty items, tailored to customer preferences and dietary needs.
Control food portions and present dishes attractively, with garnishes and final touches.
Operate and monitor kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers, adjusting settings to ensure optimal cooking conditions.
Knowledge of placing orders and keeping track of stock.
Knowledge of food expenses, waste reduction, and portion control.
Store ingredients and prepared foods appropriately, maintaining strict temperature controls for food safety.
Assisting Chef and head chef in menu planning, food requirement estimations, and stock management to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
The capacity for effective teamwork and strong communication abilities.
A readiness to comply with directions and support a productive kitchen atmosphere.
The ability to work different shifts as needed, including weekends and public holidays.
