SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

Our ideal candidate will have significant previous experience within the food services industry, ideally within health/aged care. They will have strong time management skills, the ability to work to deadlines and the ability to maintain an organised, process-driven workplace. We are looking for someone who will be able to easily prioritise the health and safety of residents, all while delivering a menu that is creative, exciting and especially tasty! Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

The Chef is responsible for ensuring that the standard and quality of the food offerings, as well as the hygiene and safety procedures, are maintained to the highest of standards at all times. The role is tasked with seeking constant customer satisfaction, all while adhering to nutritional requirements. The position is designed to lead a kitchen team who will thrive on delivering outstanding food and services, with a focus on keeping their clients happy. This is a hands on role that requires dedication, attention to detail and a positive professional attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Responsible for purchasing and stock management for the facility
  • Designing and adjusting menu items and service offerings
