JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a reliable Nursery Chef to prepare healthy meals and snacks for up to 20 children each day.
Hours: 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday, during nursery term time (44 weeks per year). The nursery closes for 1 week at Easter, 5 weeks over summer (last week of July through the end of August), and 2 weeks at Christmas.
Pay: £13.00–£14.50 per hour
Start Date: As soon as posisble

REQUIREMENTS:

• Catering experience (nursery/school preferred)
• Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above)
• Organised, reliable, and able to work independently

• Cook simple, healthy balanced meals following the nursery menu
• Cater for allergies and dietary needs safely
• Maintain food hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Order food, manage stock, and keep records
• Work closely with the nursery team to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
