About the Role We are seeking a Commercial Chef Supervisor to manage the operations of the Café located at Gedling Country Park and to support our other commercial cafes and coffee shops. You will lead and support the team in producing varied and appealing menus, while maintaining strong operational standards, food safety compliance, effective cost controls and providing a welcoming environment. You will also be responsible for training new team members to meet high standards and staying updated on health and safety protocols. We are looking for individuals who possess extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, in addition to showcasing exemplary customer service and leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will: * Have work experience as a Catering Supervisor, Café Manager or Chef * Have excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team * Have excellent customer service attitude * Promote sales growth by collaborating with the manager of the venue * Ensure high levels of Food Safety and Health & Safety are always maintained * Have knowledge of menu costing and portion management * Culinary Skills - Able to develop ideas to help create menus for a commercial audience with flair and enthusiasm for cooking with fresh quality ingredients. Responsibilities
