• Proven experience as a chef in a professional kitchen (cafe, bistro, restaurant or pub experience desirable)

• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a small supportive team.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (level 2/3 Food hygiene preferred).

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable, flexible and passionate Chef to join our team. You will play a key role in preparing and delivering high-quality standards in all that reflects our café bar’s unique character. This role requires someone who can maintain consistency, work well under pressure and bring creativity to our evolving menu.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Support the development of seasonal and evening menus in line with our brand vision.
• Maintain strict hygiene, food safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Manage stock levels effectively, including ordering and minimising waste.
• Work collaboratively with management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Adapt to changing demands - from day time cafe service to evening dining and events
