The Locks Perth is a beautiful restaurant located next to Stewart Park in the Perth Parkside Inn offering a focus on Steak, Seafood and Wine.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a passionate and experienced culinary professional. Reliability, calm under pressure, and the ability to lead and inspire are the most important traits we are looking for. You must have a positive attitude and be able to lead others and direct the kitchen and serving team resulting in the best possible guest experience. This is a full time position with room to grow and advance within the company as we are ever expanding.

Job Description

  • Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
  • Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner.
  • Create new features on a regular basis
  • Ensure dishes are prepped and served consistently.
  • Execute catering and event orders based on client requests
  • Monitor and record inventory, weekly orders based on established pars
  • Provide support to kitchen employees with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
  • Train new kitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
  • Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety regulations.
  • Manage the kitchen team in the executive chef’s absence.

Required Skills
