OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join The Northern Way. Working on the shores of Esnagi Lake, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience working in restaurants or other food service facilities. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests and staff. As this is a remote position, room and board are provided free of charge. This is initially a short term opportunity, until mid-October, with the opportunity to return for the following seasons.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
    Job Type: Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 2 months
    Pay: From $6,500.00 per month

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed.
