We are looking for Chefs from all levels and backgrounds to join our team at the Old Wharf Inn.
A family owned canal side pub, serving real ales, good food and craft spirits to the neighbourhood.

Ran by landlord Jack, The Old Wharf Inn is a small pub in Stourbridge, located on the corner of Canal Street, with an outdoor decking area overlooking the Stourbridge Canal.

• Experience in cooking with fresh food is preferred but not essential
• Experience in a fast paced kitchen with a clean as you go policy
• We are looking for organised chefs who thrive working in a team
• Experience as a Sous Chef, Grill Chef, Line Chef, Chef de Partie, Commis Chef or anything in between

Experience:

• Chef: 2 years (required

· Oversee and organise kitchen stock and ingredients.
· Ensures a first-in, first-out rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organised for quality assurance.
· Keep cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours.
·Verify that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed.
· Cleaning and the breaking down of the kitchen is needed at the end of shift to keep standards high.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
