EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring junior staff members.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their culinary skills.
  • Develop and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
  • Ensure the presentation of dishes meets the restaurant’s standards for quality and aesthetics.
