About the Role We are seeking a Chef , for a Permanent- Full Time opportunity in The Collaroy Centre, NSW Purpose of the role: Join us at The Collaroy Centre located on the Northern beaches, where your creativity in the kitchen helps support programs that make a real difference in people’s lives. Early start early finish Monday to Friday. We're currently seeking a Chef to work alongside our dedicated Sous Chef in leading daily kitchen operations, creating delicious meals, and helping build a warm, welcoming experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities: You will be successful in this role if you can: Perform specialized cooking tasks including bulk cooking, baking. Assist in supervising and training kitchen staff. Always maintain food safety and hygiene standards. Manage inventory, stock rotation, and deliveries. Support the Sous Chef in kitchen planning, production schedules, and prep lists. Occasionally assist with fine dining functions and weekend service. Qualifications and Experience: Certificate III, Commercial Cookery (or equivalent). 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen or volume catering environment. Sound understanding of dietary requirements and allergen management. Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Requirements of the Role: A national police record check Working with Children’s check is required.
