The Spotted Cow is an independent, family run pub in Farnham looking to recruit an experienced Chef/Manager to organise the kitchen’s activities. Someone who can be a leader, cope under pressure and take on day to day roles. We strive to give an exceptional experience to our customers, with our seasonal British/Mediterranean menu. You will have full responsibility for the food that leaves our kitchens and leading your team to be the best they can be.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day running of the kitchen
  • Supervise Cooks and assist as needed
  • Delegating tasks to kitchen team
  • Food preparation and presentation in accordance with restaurant standards and quality
  • Approving dishes before they leave the kitchen
  • Remedy any problems or defects
  • Stock Taking & Ordering
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment

Job Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Chef
  • Cooking: 1+ years (preferred)
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 Qualification
  • Driving License (Preferred)
  • Excellent management skills with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment

Schedule:

  • Weekends Required
  • Monday to Friday
  • Day - Evening Shift

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Temp to perm
Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
