We are currently looking for Chefs of all levels to join our team at Turnip & Thyme in the heart of the community. This role is vital in delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect our commitment to quality and seasonal ingredients.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee kitchen operations to ensure high-quality food production.
  • Manage food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining our standards of excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Develop seasonal menus that highlight local ingredients.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills.
  • Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
  • Passion for cooking with an emphasis on using fresh, local ingredients.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and management.
  • Experience in menu planning and development is preferred.
