Get discounts on private health insurance, gym memberships and travel and so much more Recognition Programs – If you thrive in an environment where we value recognition and rewarding employees on achievements, we take are acknowledged Your Role as a Chef You’ll deliver high quality meals for residents and visitors by: Preparing of large quantities of high-quality food that meets the resident’s nutritional needs and meal preferences Maintaining hygiene and presentation Menu and Service planning Preparing temperature-controlled food Undertaking of storage and stock rotation of food Contributing to the maintenance of safe working conditions for all conditions which includes reporting any hazards or risks What We’re Looking For Certificate III Commercial Cookery Certified Eden Associate or willingness to attain accreditation Demonstrated high level ability in food preparation and cooking in a large scale commercial environment, preferably in an aged care environment Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the maintenance of hygienic equipment and work areas Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a small, multi-disciplinary and busy team Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise, encourage, engage, actively listen and support various stakeholders at all levels, to achieve outcomes Demonstrated high level time management skills Essential Requirements Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy) Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
