Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full-Time Chef to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality Italian dishes, maintaining consistent standards, and contributing to the smooth daily operation of our busy restaurant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and cook a wide range of Italian dishes, including pasta, risotto, antipasti, mains, and desserts, to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Contribute to menu development by suggesting seasonal specials and creative variations that align with our Italian theme.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients and presented with attention to detail.
  • Oversee daily food preparation, portioning, and plating to maintain consistency during peak service periods.
  • Manage stock levels, monitor inventory rotation, and place orders to minimise waste and maintain cost control.
  • Uphold strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient team.
  • Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication and excellent guest dining experiences.
