Ye Olde New Inn is a warm and welcoming country pub nestled in the heart of The Severn Valley and Wyre Forest. Known for our classic charm, friendly atmosphere, and quality food, we’re looking for a talented Chef to join our team and help take our kitchen to the next level.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who is passionate about creating memorable dining experiences. The ideal candidate will bring:
Experience catering for functions and events (weddings, parties, community gatherings)
A flair for trending dishes and the confidence to evolve our menu with fresh ideas
An eye for presentation—because we eat with our eyes first
Solid kitchen management skills, including hygiene, stock control, and prep
A calm, reliable presence who thrives in a busy pub environment
What You’ll Be Doing
Preparing and presenting quality dishes for daily service and special events
Collaborating on seasonal menus and weekly specials
Ensuring smooth kitchen operations and maintaining high standards
Supporting junior staff and contributing to a positive team culture
