Job Description We are currently recruiting Chefs to join the team at our Cibaria Noosa kitchen located in the heart of Noosa, just steps from Noosa Main Beach. This position involves the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food in accordance with established menus and standards. The role will be hands on and will require strong technical skills, the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment, and a passion for high-quality Italian cuisine. Key Duties and Responsibilities Preparing, seasoning, and cooking food items in accordance with menu specifications Planning and organising the preparation and cooking of food across service periods Ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation of dishes Monitoring food preparation processes to ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations Storing food correctly and managing stock rotation to minimise waste Assisting with ordering, receiving, and checking kitchen supplies Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, workstations, and food preparation areas Supervising and assisting kitchen staff during service as required Contributing to menu execution and continuous improvement of kitchen operations Qualifications Minimum 2 years of relevant full-time commercial cooking experience, or a relevant Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) Proven experience performing duties consistent with the occupation of Chef Sound knowledge of food safety standards and safe food handling practices Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Desirable Skills and Experience Experience with Italian cuisine Fresh pasta production experience Wood-fired cooking experience Pastry or butchery skills Food Safety Supervisor certification Additional Information Competitive salary package aligned to market rates Ongoing training and professional development Career progression opportunities Staff dining discounts Supportive and inclusive workplace culture Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates. $76,515 t0 $90,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
