Quality Hotel Robertson Gardens is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Full-Time Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs to join our growing kitchen team. Working alongside experienced chefs, you will assist in the preparation and service of high-quality food across our à la carte restaurant, buffet service and function operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and service while maintaining high quality standards
• Prepare and cook menu items under the guidance of senior chefs
• Assist in the delivery of food service across our à la carte restaurant, buffet operations and functions.
• Ensure food presentation and consistency meet venue standards
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
• Assist with stock rotation, storage and inventory management
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations

About you

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment is preferred
• Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or currently undertaking studies are advantageous
• Strong passion for food and hospitality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn
• Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining high standards
