Description Summary: Processes detail and fabricated assemblies through chemical cleaning processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Performs a variety of cleaning processes involving water, solvents, and alkaline cleaning solutions. Uses overhead crane to perform time sequential transfers of baskets to and from processing solutions. Loads and unloads parts into process baths. Dries parts using compressed air and ovens. Application and removal of maskant on details when required. Follows all required safety and OSHA rules and regulation including the use of PPE. Performs visual inspection of parts and assemblies. Verifies and maintains accuracy of routers and other applicable documents for completeness. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time Other duties may be assigned as needed Requirements Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
