Our continuous inkjet technology provides the opportunity to work on complex, multidisciplinary problems. Engineering intern projects involve understanding and analyzing these problems and proposing material design/process solution alternatives. At our Rochester NY R&D labs you will work with other engineers and chemists to develop coatings/primers, ink materials and processes for current and future generations of inkjet writing and printing press systems for the packaging market (www.kodak.com/en/company/press-release/boost-productivity-with-ektacolor-inks-and-optimax-primers/).You will work with a mentor engineer on lab/bench level testing and hands on coating and laminating processes The intern will gain experience both in design and analysis methods as well as analytical and physical property testing methods.
