Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a highly motivated Chemical Laboratory Technician to join our growing team and play a key role in the development and optimization of our polyphenol extraction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform chemical and physical analyses on solids, liquids, and gases for research, quality control, and environmental compliance purposes.
  • Prepare chemical solutions according to standardized formulas and assist in the development of experimental formulas for testing and optimization.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including chromatography systems (HPLC, GC), spectrometers (FTIR, UV-Vis), and pH meters, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Accurately record and interpret experimental data, utilizing laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and protocols (e.g., PPE use) as well as regulatory guidelines such as ISO, ASTM, GMP, and GLP.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, managing hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical technology, or a related field is required for this role.
  • Proficiency in Laboratory Instruments: Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectrometers.
  • Analytical Techniques Knowledge: Solid understanding of key analytical techniques, including titration, chromatography, and spectroscopy.
  • Safety Protocols Expertise: Strong awareness and adherence to safety protocols for handling chemicals, hazardous materials, and waste.
  • Accurate Documentation Skills: Ability to accurately document and analyze results using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or other software tools.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry regulatory standards, including FDA guidelines, ISO standards, and environmental regulations (e.g., ISO 14001).
