gap personnel are currently recruiting for 2 x Chemical Mixing Operatives to work with our client based in Stourbridge.

Details:

• Fixed AM and PM Shifts available
• AM Shift - 6am till 3pm Monday to Friday: PM Shift - 1pm till 10pm Monday to Friday - 45 hours per week total.
• AM Shift - £13 per hour, PM Shift - £14 per hour.
• Temp to Perm role.

The Role:
The purpose of the role is to manufacture formulations whilst meeting agreed planned volumes and targets in accordance with company quality and safety standards.

Company Processes:

• Weighing and blending of chemicals in accordance with specified formulations and procedures
• Operate and maintain mixing and blending equipment
• Complete manufacturing to a daily production plan
• Cleaning of mixing vessels
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met at every stage of manufacture
• Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping
• Maintain accurate formulation records and documentation
• Participate in H&S meetings and tool box talks

Key Skills:

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Use initiative and be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Organised
• Excellent communication and team work skills
• Counterbalance FLT licence (Training can be provided)
• Experience in manufacturing required
