JOB SUMMARY

ETO Engineering is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer - Water and Wastewater Projects to support the design, assessment, and optimization of treatment processes for municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities. This role offers hands-on experience in process design, hydraulic modeling, equipment selection, pilot testing, and plant commissioning. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and clients to develop efficient and sustainable treatment solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, Civil Engineering, Mechanical, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in water and wastewater process engineering, municipal infrastructure, or environmental engineering.
  • EIT or P.Eng. designation (or working toward P.Eng.).
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic modeling, process simulation software (e.g., BioWin, GPS-X, or similar), and mass balance calculations.
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, technical drawings, and process control documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and client interactions.
  • Must have a ‘G’ Driver’s License and access to a vehicle for travels
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $44.00-$45.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week
