Description
We are looking for a Chemical Engineer to contribute to the design, optimization and safe development and deployment of machines for industrial manufacture of high-temperature thin-film superconductors (HTS). Responsibilities Conduct feasibility studies to assess the technical and economic viability of new chemical processes for transforming raw materials into finished products In collaboration with the HSE department, ensure full compliance with chemical safety regulations, including storage, handling, and waste disposal Implement quality control and monitoring systems in compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards and product specifications Identify potential risks and define proper procedures for waste management, including the treatment of exhaust process gases, wastewater, and chemical waste Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to coordinate and optimize production activities, using chemical and industrial know-how to help define process parameters and equipment requirements for the safe and efficient production of chemical processes Design innovative CVD processes and, where applicable, polishing processes — for example, by identifying alternative raw materials to improve performance (e.g., faster, simpler, more cost-effective, or environmentally safer solutions) Work closely with other engineers to scale up prototype lines into fully industrialized manufacturing processes Requirements Do not hesitate to apply if you don’t meet all the requirements.
