Connect Appointments are excited to be recruiting experienced individuals for our chemical manufacturing client in Cupar, Fife.

We’re seeking a Chemical Process Operator to join and develop the manufacturing team, being responsible for the batch manufacture of chemical products. As such, your duties would include:

  • Retrieving, weighing and mixing chemical ingredients
  • Monitoring of equipment during the chemical process
  • Recording data to ensure quality, safety and efficiency
  • Respond to required corrective and preventative action in a timely manner
  • Participate as required in design/hazard reviews
  • Any other reasonable tasks as requested

To be successful in this role you will ideally have some previous experience working within a chemical manufacturing/processing, or similar role - but not essential as full training will be provided. The key skills and traits we’re looking for include:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • A flexible approach to working
