JOIN THE TEAM:

ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Chemical Production Labourer to join our North Vancouver site! Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for the safe, efficient and environmentally sound operation of their specific area while working on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule. You must have the ability to quickly respond to plant upsets and emergency situations.

Responsibilities
  • Filling FIBC bags and loading them into shipping containers.
  • Working with the Production Manager and the Logistics department regarding safety, security, environmental, logistics, personnel and process issues that arises at work.
  • Interprets and reports on product quality to determine actions necessary to meet specifications.
  • Involved in other plant duties such as acid washing, sump cleaning and general labour to maintain plant operations.
  • Trains new peers and summer students on all aspects of the FIBC warehouse and other duties as required. Actively supports ongoing reviews and updating of area relevant to operating procedures.
  • Prepares equipment for safe lock-out (including all other safety related standards) for maintenance and contractor personnel.
  • Assists operations with moving, cleaning and inspecting railcars.
