Job Description As part of the Propulsion Engineering team you will have the following responsibilities: Providing expert technical support in Chemical Propulsion to the Agency’s project teams responsible for the development of space transportation and exploration vehicles (including launchers, orbital transfer vehicles, landers and reentry vehicles) and spacecraft throughout all the project phases; Supporting the activities for studies, simulation and experimental investigations and engineering developments in chemical propulsion (components, equipment, sub-systems, systems). Qualifications You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience: University degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Enginering from a recognised Institution of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in Masters with relevant experience; Experience in aerospace or mechanical engineering with emphasis in chemical and/or advance propulsion related subjects; Proven experience in the design, development and/or testing of chemical propulsion systems and/or components for spacecraft and/or launcher applications; A good knowledge of other specialist technological areas involved in space propulsion i.e. materials, thermal, mechanical would also be desirable Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
