CHEMICAL SERVICES TECHNICIAN

Full-Time, Pay: $21-26/Hour based on experience

Location: Solon, Ohio

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Chemical Services Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in chemical handling, laboratory procedures, and regulatory compliance. Candidates will need a technical background and need to be able to work independently and be driven to solve problems. Compensation is dependent on the level of experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field or at least two years of relevant experience
  • Experience with chemical handling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent quality
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new methods and technologies
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (local candidates preferred)
  • Must pass random drug screening and a criminal background check

Responsibilities
  • Prepare samples and conduct analyses; calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments
  • Execute chemical reactions in compliance with SOPs and QA/QC standards
  • Accurately document all procedures, observations, and results to uphold data integrity and regulatory compliance
  • Following environmental regulations and staying compliant with safety protocols from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
  • Assist with chemical hygiene responsibilities, including safety training and proper handling and storage protocols
  • Assist with or conduct safety audits of workplace procedures and environments
  • Maintain chemical inventory: monitor usage, order supplies, and inspect storage systems
  • Handle hazardous chemicals safely from generation to waste disposal
