Chemical Technician Wage: $24.00/H Chemical Technician 1 Wage: $26.00/H Chemical Technician 2 Wage: $29.00/H Status: Full time, non-exempt Reports to: Maintenance Manager Travel Requirements: 100% Schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off including evenings, holidays, and weekends Work Location: This position follows a rotational schedule with work locations across multiple operating regions including Zelienople, PA; Williston, ND; Kilgore, TX; and Midland, TX, with work potentially extending to other operational basins as required. All new hire training will be based in Zelienople, PA. Work Environment: Will require working in shop and field environments across multiple operating regions. CHEMICAL TECHNICIAN The Chemical Technician position is responsible for supporting chemical operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of chemical systems and related oilfield service equipment. This role includes both shop and field work, assisting with chemical handling, system monitoring, and ensuring operational efficiency across service lines. This position is best suited for individuals with 1–5 years of experience in chemical operations, oil and gas, or related industrial environments. Candidates with experience in fluid systems, chemical handling, oilfield operations, or mechanical aptitude are strongly preferred. The position may require participation in on-call rotations and operating a company service vehicle. WHY CHOOSE DEEP WELL SERVICES? * Medical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Benefits * 401(k) Plan * Career growth opportunities * On-the-job training * Paid travel and training * Company service truck when on-call * PPE provided * Wellness programs including telehealth and Employee Assistance Program * Discounted reduced gym membership rates DUTIES * Assist in chemical mixing, handling, and transferring operations in accordance with safety protocols * Monitor and maintain chemical systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality * Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on chemical equipment and systems * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to chemical processes and field equipment * Support field operations by preparing and delivering chemicals to job sites as needed * Maintain accurate documentation of chemical usage, inventory, and maintenance activities * Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations * Operate company vehicles and equipment to support field service operations * Maintain clean and organized work areas in both shop and field environments * Assist in mentoring entry-level technicians when applicable * Follow all company safety policies and procedures * Other duties as assigned by management SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience) Experience: 1–5+ years of experience in chemical operations, oilfield services, or related industry preferred Experience with fluid systems, chemical handling, or industrial equipment strongly preferred Other Requirements: Must maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record and meet company driving requirements Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and produce a negative drug screen Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with attention to detail Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to pass a pre-employment physical * Stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods of time * Lift tools, components, and materials up to 50 lbs. regularly * Perform repetitive tasks for extended periods * Work in shop and field environments in varying weather conditions * Work scheduled rotational assignments including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends Disclaimer The Company has reviewed this job description to ensure that essential functions and basic duties have been included.
