Job Description Perform testing and analysis in accordance with the standard/in-house methods and to comply with QA/QC procedures. To ensure timeliness, precision, and accuracy of analytical results to meet turnaround time. Effective implementation and maintenance of MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017, SAMM Policy , as well as Group Quality System. Adhere to group HSE safety procedures. Ensure that information from the clients is kept strictly confidential and never revealed to third parties. Ensure all analytical equipment, apparatus, etc., are maintained and calibrated as per the required schedule. Ensure the root cause of all non-conformities or customer complaints is investigated and identified with appropriate corrective and preventive actions. To treat the proficiency Testing Programmed or Round Robin seriously and make sure the result obtained is the most accurate and precise. To train, supervise, and monitor lab technicians /Junior Staff with assigned test methods and procedures. To ensure all controlled quality procedures, test methods, and documents are kept confidential and restricted within SGS premises. Practice good housekeeping and good laboratory practice. Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by upholding good safety behavior and exercising necessary standards and processes when carrying out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance with the HSE requirements. Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field from a recognized university/college. Minimum 1-4 years’ experience in a relevant analytical laboratory however, fresh graduates with the right and positive attitude are acceptable
