JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform laboratory analysis of samples according to established specifications and procedures using wet chemistry techniques or various lab apparatus and instruments in compliance with cGMP, GLP’s, SOP’s USP and FDA guidelines.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 0-1 year of experience in an academic or science laboratory.
• Excellent technical writing, editing, formatting, and organization skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with academic lab techniques such as pH, titrations, FT-IR.
• Knowledge of HPLC, UV-VIS, and general chemistry techniques.
• No industry experience required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform lab analysis of samples using wet chemistry techniques or various lab apparatus and instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, FT-IR, TOC, and pH meter.
• Conduct routine qualification, calibration, and maintenance of lab instruments.
• Prepare analytical standards and reagents according to established procedures and specifications.
• Execute protocols for method verification and validation.
• Scan and compile supporting data for report and document preparation.
• Undertake other tasks and projects as assigned.
