At Applied Materials, our innovations make possible the technology shaping the future. Applied Materials' PPB is searching for a student interested in a Co-Op to join our team. The position will entail the following: Assist with localized encapsulation process, to include: tool preparation, processing wafers, measuring wafers, documentation. Some chemical handling required. Conduct experiment of thermal heating effect on local ink flow and curing Lead small development projects involving experiment running and wafer metrology Support process engineering through procurement, shipping, and inventory functions Requirements Student must be pursuing a Master's, or PhD degree program in Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale Experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing preferred Quick learner Available for a 6-month Co-Op in Santa Clara, CA Applied Materials is committed to diversity in its workforce including Equal Employment Opportunity for Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.
