ABOUT YOU

You will have a degree (or higher) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related field, with some professional experience. Inkjet experience is a plus but not essential.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A well organised and strong analytical mindset.
  • Positive and proactive in your approach to your work.
  • Awareness of laboratory safety and chemical handling.
  • Clear and concise communication, written and verbal.
  • Experience of formulating fluids to achieve stable products and knowledge of scaling up laboratory experiments is desirable.

Responsibilities

Join our Consumables team within Group R&D as a Chemist and help shape the future of sustainable manufacturing. In this role, you will formulate and test fluid products in the lab, run them in printers, and guide them all the way through to manufacturing. Working within a small, innovative team, you will have access to cutting-edge analytical and printing equipment in a dynamic environment that values creativity and continuous improvement. Your work will help the world’s manufacturers reduce waste while ensuring consumers are informed, protected, and engaged - reflecting Domino’s commitment to sustainability.

What you will do:

  • Design, plan, and formulate new products using established test methods based on customer needs.
  • Generate robust, high-quality laboratory data with appropriate scientific rigour and peer review.
  • Collaborate with our analytical experts to investigate how ingredients interact with printers.
  • Document your findings clearly through reports and present your results in group meetings.
  • Develop hands-on expertise in printing processes to support your formulation work.
  • Contribute to Group R&D’s quality and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all work meets Group health, safety, and environmental standards.
