Job Title: Chemist - I
Job Location: Dayton, OH 45414
Job Type: Contract - 6+ month

Job Duties:

• Assess quality parameters and systems including cross-checks, raw materials, calibration, maintenance, procedures, food safety, training, auditing and oversight of analytical testing performed in control rooms.
• Provide process improvement support, specialized testing, training, audit systems, analyze data, identify trends, troubleshoot, corrective action, and communication regarding processing data, final product and wastewater.
• Maintain and coordinate the chemist technician partnership and training systems.
• Approve final production and assurance of compliance to customer specifications. Handle customer audits, initiatives and follow-ups.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma GED.
• Nice to have a bachelor’s degree.
• Must have 2+ years expertise in Chromatography, HPLC, LC.
• Must have 5+ years of experience in laboratory.
• Travel required – Need local guys, only within 30 miles area.

Schedule:

• Rotating schedule working Night and Day
• Monday to Tuesday 12-hours shift 7 am – 7 pm.
• First week - 7 AM to 7 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Second week – 7 AM to 7 PM (Wednesday and Thursday)
• This schedule repeats.
• The first month is on the 7 AM – 7 PM shift and the next month is on the 7 PM- 7 AM shift.
