Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Open position at Jotun Binder Laboratory, we seek a PhD or experienced master within the field of polymer or organic chemistry. Binders is a main component of paint and coatings defining many of the final properties.
Main task for binder laboratory is: Synthesis and characterization of new binders (polymers) for our paint and coating. Followed by testing the binders in paint to verify properties in the final product.
Participate actively in the working out of R&D tasks, contributing professionally within own area both internally and externally to increase the quality of the R&D plan and competence in the professional environment.
Search for and make use of knowledge through literature, practical experience, learning from others as well as attending courses to be able to work more independently with more complex R&D tasks.
