Testall (Ireland) Ltd are key service providers for the construction testing industry and facilitate clients nationwide. We have an enviable reputation for consistently delivering excellence through our laboratory and field services in this industry. Testall undertake testing and appraisal of various construction products including asphalt, concrete, quarry aggregates and soils in conjunction with related field services including materials sampling, monitoring, surveying of concrete structures etc.
Due to continued growth and expansion we are now recruiting for an Assistant Chemist / Laboratory Technician in our office in Fermanagh.
Working under the supervision of the Senior Chemist to ensure throughput while maintaining accuracy in our analytical chemistry laboratory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of test samples
- Accurate analysis of materials and recording of test data
- Handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals
- Housekeeping
- Monitoring of environmental controls
Requirements:
- A Level/ Leaving Certificate in Chemistry (or demonstrable relevant experience)
- Previous experience working in a laboratory with volatile chemicals
- Good understanding of COSHH and safe laboratory practices
- Sufficient level of physical fitness and no dust allergies.
