Job Description Perform testing and analysis in accordance with the standard/in-house methods and to comply with QA/QC procedures. To ensure timeliness, precision and accuracy of analytical results to meet turnaround time. Effective implementation and maintenance of MS ISO/IEC 17025 as well as Group Quality System. Ensure that information from the clients is kept as strictly confidential and never revealed to the third party. Ensure all analytical equipment, apparatus etc are maintained and calibrated as per the required schedule. Ensure root-cause of all non-conformities or customer complaints are to be investigated and identified with appropriate corrective and preventive actions. To treat proficiency Testing Programmed or Round Robin seriously and make sure the result obtained is most accurate and precise. To train, supervise and monitor lab technicians /Junior Staff with assigned test methods and procedures. To ensure all controlled quality procedures, test methods and document are kept confidentially and restricted within SGS premise. Practice Good Housekeeping and Good Laboratory practice. Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements. Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field from recognized university/college Minimum 1-4 years’ experience in relevant analytical laboratory however fresh graduates with right and positive attitude are acceptable
Responsibilities
