The purpose of this job is to support the operation and development of the Chemistry department within pharmaceutical finished products, API and raw materials. Please note this is a full time role working 39 Hours per week, Monday to Friday. The shift pattern will be 09:00-17:15 for four days and 09:00-17:30 for one day. Chemistry testing. Management of chemistry materials. Management of laboratory glassware. Management and removal of laboratory waste. Maintain laboratory log books. Perform required inter-company support activities. Perform LabGuard activities. Report and document any exceptions in the laboratory. Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA). Support equipment calibration, qualification, and maintenance. Responsible for ensuring that UK health and safety legislation is maintained and helping to ensure that the working environment is kept in a clean and tidy manner. Propose and implement continuous improvements. Qualifications Degree in life sciences is preferred. Proven experience in a GMP or GLP and Chemistry position preferred if no qualification. Good understanding of GMP. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Demonstrates competency in work. Good communication skills both written and spoken.
