Description

FACULTY OF ARTS AND SCIENCES

NorQuest College employees are difference makers in the work we do for our college and community. We transform lives together. We work together in the spirit of Wahkotowin (togetherness) in good relations—Miyo Wahkotowin.
The Engineering University Transfer Certificate (EUTC) program is looking for a full-time chemistry instructor who will report to the Associate Chair. NorQuesters are difference makers, and we’re searching for someone dedicated to making a difference by joining our newly established Engineering University Transfer team. The successful candidate will teach both lecture and lab components of chemistry courses in our EUTC and Arts & Science programs. We offer a vibrant, inclusive, diverse, and student-centered learning environment that seeks to transform lives and strengthen communities by offering students a pathway to the Engineering profession.
The successful candidate can look forward to being a part of the newest transfer program at NorQuest College! The EUTC program provides all required courses for the qualifying year of Bachelor of Science in Engineering, enabling a pathway for graduates to complete their degree at various post-secondary institutions in Alberta. Students in the program will discover the world of engineering through courses in physics, chemistry, math, and engineering foundations. With an opportunity to complete work-integrated learning projects, students will complete the program with real world connections to industry, and various disciplines in Engineering. This full time 1-year certificate program is taught in-person at the Downtown Edmonton NorQuest Campus.
