Responsibilities As a Chemistry Lab Technician II, you will perform laboratory testing and provide support for analytical chemistry operations, including preparation of samples, maintenance of laboratory supplies, and execution of analytical test procedures. This role supports R&D, manufacturing, and quality activities to ensure the generation of high-quality analytical data in compliance with established standards and procedures. Key Accountabilities Perform laboratory operations including pipetting, transferring, and serial dilutions of reagents and samples. Weigh reagents, samples, and standards accurately in accordance with testing requirements. Prepare mobile phases, dissolution media, and working standards for analytical testing. Conduct sample preparation and loading for HPLC and dissolution testing. Support the execution of analytical method validations, test protocols, and R&D analytical studies. Maintain accurate documentation of all laboratory work in notebooks and electronic systems. Procure and restock laboratory supplies such as standards, columns, and chemicals. Assist in method development using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, or related equipment. Follow established SOPs and safety procedures for chemical handling, waste disposal, and laboratory hygiene. Wash and prepare laboratory glassware and equipment as needed. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline, or equivalent professional experience. 2+ years of related experience in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment Strong laboratory skills including weighing, pipetting, and solution preparation. Proficiency in documentation and data integrity practices. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Preferred: Experience in a regulated laboratory or medical device environment. Familiarity with HPLC, GC, and dissolution testing. Working Conditions Laboratory environment with exposure to chemicals and standard laboratory equipment. Light office work as required. Must use personal protective equipment (PPE) as appropriate. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. Pay / Compensation The expected pre-tax pay rate for this position is $22.74 - $28.29 hourly. Actual pay may fluctuate outside of the listed range depending on skills, education, experience, job-related knowledge and location
