The Church Stretton Chemistries Centre of Excellence specializes in the design and manufacture of products used in a diverse range of applications including environmental testing to guarantee food safety, pharmaceutical research and manufacture of next generation mRNA vaccines and clinical diagnosis focused on the early detection of disease.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:

  • Ideally a University Degree around Chemistry or relevant experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Previous manufacturing or laboratory experience with large scale chemical processes is desirable but not required. If you have the right attitude, have practical skills and attention to detail our comprehensive training will set you up for success.

Responsibilities:

  • Work carefully according to Health & Safety and Quality (ISO9001:2015) guidelines
  • Collect, prepare, calibrate and set-up equipment and raw materials
  • Produce and process products according to documented procedures
  • Accurately record all process tasks and material movements
  • Document any deviations as part of an open reporting culture
  • Large Scale Chemical processes 50L-2000L
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area
  • Develop new skills by working within project teams on specific initiatives
  • Contribute ideas to and participate in Continuous Improvement activities
