We are looking for a Chemistry Teacher for an international school located in Wuhan. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year, commencing in August 2026. About the school This is a K–12 international and bilingual school in Wuhan offering a broad pathway of programmes, including IB, Cambridge/IGCSE, A-Level, and Chinese curriculum options. About the role Teach chemistry to high school students utilizing the IBDP curriculum to deliver engaging and effective lessons Plan and prepare lessons, assessments, and learning materials in line with curriculum requirements Mark and evaluate student work, and write clear and accurate report comments Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and ongoing improvement Assess and monitor student progress, setting clear goals to support achievement and growth Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain clear communication with parents and caregivers Create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment that promotes student development Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred Recognized teaching qualification for the relevant age group Minimum 3 years of secondary teaching experience IB DP experience preferred Good understanding of effective secondary teaching methods Culturally aware and able to work well in a cross-cultural environment Salary and benefits Market competitive compensation package, negotiable and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
