THE ROLE & WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Recochem is now seeking a Chemistry Technician to support their plant at Broadmeadows, Victoria.
This role is full time hours between Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate would have a background working for a chemical manufacturing plant in a chemistry technician role.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, with a dotted line to the Quality & Technical Manager, this role will suit a person who is responsible, safety focused and can work independently or part of a team.

YOUR DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

· Ensure that raw materials and finished goods comply with all regulations or standards that apply to the Transport or Storage of Dangerous Goods, internal or customer quality and safety requirements, Australian Work Place Health & Safety standards
· Ensures that all internal and customer quality documentation requirements are met
· Assist with the monitoring and amendments of product data sheets and MSDS
· Perform or contract the calibration of test equipment to ensure accuracy
· Act of various quality improvement projects as required
· Provide technical support in product development
· Assist with the preparation of product data sheets and MSDS
· Compile technical information
· As a member of the Technical Team provide information and support to the sales or customer service staff and the general public
