Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in General Chemistry, Honors and AP level.
- Assess students’ strengths and weaknesses to develop personalized study plans.
- Help subjects understand and apply key concepts and problem-solving strategies.
- Assist students in preparing for exams and tests by reviewing material and practicing sample questions.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and expertise in the subjects mentioned, including statistics, biochemistry, and microbiology.
- Previous experience working with students as a tutor or teacher.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
- Strong organizational skills to plan and track tutoring sessions.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate students’ availability.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
