Working closely with the Specialist Acute Care Team (SACT) and other medical units, this role ensures the smooth and efficient delivery of blood transfusion treatments, supporting high-quality patient care.

The coordinator collaborates with medical consultants, assisting with non-routine tasks and specific procedures related to blood transfusions and other supportive treatments, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
In addition to administrative duties such as scheduling treatments, liaising with patients and stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records, the coordinator supports digital managed production systems to streamline service delivery. The role ensures that all processes are seamlessly coordinated and that patient data is handled securely and efficiently.
