JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chess Coach to lead after-school chess sessions for students in primary and secondary schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chess and a passion for teaching children in a fun, engaging, and educational way. This role involves traveling to different schools and delivering well-structured sessions that build students’ strategic thinking, focus, and problem-solving skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience playing and/or teaching chess (tournament experience preferred).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience coaching or mentoring children.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work with students of different skill levels.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to different school locations.
  • Certification in chess coaching (optional but preferred).
  • A passion for working with children and promoting intellectual development.
  • Must pass child safety and background checks.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED3,000.00 per month

Responsibilities
  • Conduct engaging and interactive chess classes for students aged 4–16.
  • Travel to assigned schools to lead after-school sessions.
  • Teach chess fundamentals, tactics, and strategies appropriate for different age groups and skill levels.
  • Organize practice games, mini-tournaments, and skill-building exercises.
  • Foster a positive and respectful learning environment.
  • Track student progress and provide feedback to the program coordinator.
  • Ensure safety, discipline, and inclusive participation in each session.
  • Communicate with school staff and parents as needed.
